QUALITY CONTROLLER

The incumbents will directly report to the Quality Team' Leader.
Coca-Cola Sabco Tanzania requires the services of a dynamic motivated Qualtty Controller to be based in Mbeya.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Calibrate measuring equipment as in master list. .
2. Report on measuring equipment and submit error report.
3. Collect and test retention samples.
4. Sign off simple syrup and final syrup for production.
5. Participate-in quality improvement projects.
6. Participate in root cause analyses to resolve quality issues.
7. Monitor GMP on lines and in syrup room.
8. Maintain lab housekeeping standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Sciences degree Diploma in Food Technology or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) Years experience preferably with FMCG" assertiveness, time management, ability to perform regular work correctly and in time without follow up and guidance, be able to work within a team and demonstrate high integrity and honesty work ethics.

An agricultural service organization is seeking qualified candidate dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to serve as chief accountant to oversee and manage all finance and administration activities of its operations within Tanzania. He/she will play an integral role within the company’s operations, working closely with the general manager to support field operations.
The chief accountant role will require a well-developed leader with a strong demonstrated experience in areas of finance audit, budgeting and reporting, human resources, procurement and administration. He/she should possess finance and managerial skills and experience gained from working in an agriculture industry (preferably tea)
Specific Responsibilities
The chief accountant will exercise over all control of all finance transactions, inventory and accountancy matters as well as coordinate external audit. He/she will ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company’s financial affairs.

The chief accountant will ensure timely preparations annual budgets, quarterly revised forecast and effective cost control overseeing adherence to financial process and procudurea within the organization

Qualification

Bachelor of commerce
Certified public accountant of Tanzania or other equivalent qualification
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal

Experience:

At least 6years professional accounting experience, 4years of which in managerial position
Experience in a senior position in an agriculture related environment
Experience with different accounting software and computerized accounting
Membership of a recognized accountancy body
Attributes
High level of integrity and honesty and a sense of responsibility
Ability to lead wok independently and multitasking
Strong analytical skills with a strong commercial & practical focus

  (www.restlessdevelopment.org) is the leading youth-led development agency and we are looking for dynamic, committed and passionate individual to assist in the delivery and coordination of our Southern Highland Programme led through the Mbeya Programme Office.

Working with disadvantaged young people in rural settings including youth led enterprises and youth groups, you will coordinate our support to the youth sector identifying and coordinating business development opportunities for these groups as well as leading training and advice to these groups in strengthening their businesses and organisations. You will provide technical advice and support under the direction of the Programme Coordinator - Mbeya to support Kijana Ibuka Project in working with youth groups and enterprises in both rural and urban settings.

Programme Strategy Support – Kijana Ibuka Project

Support the Program Coordinator to develop and formalise our youth entrepreneurship strategy with youth groups

Provide and coordinate entrepreneurship training and support to youth groups based on specific capacity building needs

Support the development of criteria for identification and support to new youth led enterprises

Support training to youth organized groups under Kijana Ibuka project in the area of youth entrepreneurship

Support the PQ team with monitoring and evaluation, research and studies

Support the annual review of the livelihoods compendium

Share learning and good practice case studies from the national environment with the team and Mbeya Regional Programme team as a focal point for the team on livelihoods

Support for development of partnerships for the programme

Coordinate the collection of case studies from your area of work to show case the impact of our work with youth entrepreneurs

Submit timely monthly reports to your line manager in line with the M&E system in Restless Development Tanzania

Support delivery of annual planning and review meetings with key internal and external stakeholders to the programme

Partnerships and Visibility of the Programme

Responsible for accounting and use of funds and assets at a field level in line with Restless Development policies and procedures

ensuring expenditure is spent appropriately receipted, recorded and submitted in a timely manner

Work with Program Coordinator and Finance and Admin Assistant to ensure that all funds spent on activities in the field are spent as per policies and procedures, as that assets are used and accounted for properly

Ensuring that the money reaches the field on time for all approved activities

Person Specification

Essential

Business, Economics, Project Planning and Management, Community Development or any related field.

Technical expertise in livelihoods and entrepreneurship

A strong personal commitment to the aims, values and methods of Restless Development Tanzania

A clear understanding of contemporary development issues facing young people in Tanzania particularly of HIV and AIDS, life skills, livelihoods and civic participation

Flexibility with the ability to stay out of office, working in the field for prolonged periods

Ability to work in a team

Fluent in English and Swahili

Good word processing skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Preferable

Technical training or expertise in community development

2. Ensure that all necessary accounting forms at the weighbridge station are properly filled and kept.
3. Provide reports on axle loading accounting procedures which may be required
4. Take care of weigh bridge accountable documents.
5. Co-operate with the relevant parties involved in the axle control operations
6. Implement directives relating to axle load control from the high authority and station supervisor.
7. To receive money and issue receipts to defaulters
8. Ensure that all receipts are timely recorded and banked.
9. Maintain accurate records of receipts received/issued
10. Arranges the prompt payment of utility and other invoices related to the day to day running of the office.
11. Maintain defaulters register
12. Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his/her superior
13. Reporting all matters to the shift in Charge/ Axle: Load control supervisor
