Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability and rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to empower people with disabilities and their families, improve their quality of life, and ensure access to medical and rehabilitative treatment. Committed to preventing disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities and is currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital.
To strengthen our optical team, we are looking for a dedicated Production Unit In-Charge
Responsibilities:
Create and enter data in the production module - SAP
Analyse, prepare and maintain production reports and records
Assist sales person colleagues and workshop technicians in their daily work, while correctly adhering to the protocols and guidelines in place linked to Optical business process
Identify emergency orders and facilitate accordingly
Provide proper guidance to customers on any query
Co-ordinate between sales, store and workshop units
Instruct optical sales staff with regard to special prescriptions
Explain and correct any mistakes detected in the sales and production order
Handle customers’ complaints regarding glasses and provide appropriate assistance
Handle all optical goods and computers safely
Maintain the cleanliness and order of optical equipment and the working environment
Perform any other duties related to the work as assigned by a superior
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in commerce & IT Knowledge, with at least 3 years working experience
Computer literate (preferably ERP experience)
Good communication skills in English and Swahili

Responsibilities:
Provide support to customers in selection glasses: sharing technical information on lenses and
frames;
Create daily sales report
Maintain stock for frames and finished spectacles;
Communication with customers
Data input in SAP (ERP software)
Prepare sales reports and forms for finance
Communicate with insurance companies
Performing any other duties related to his/her work as assigned by his/her superior
Qualifications & Experience:
Certificate in sales and Marketing or related area and at least 3 years experience in sales; or
Diploma in sales or marketing or related field and at least 1-2 years of experience , or
Degree in marketing.
