JOB TITLE: Assistant Programs Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Reproductive Health/Chief of Party DFID

Job Purpose:
The Assistant Program Manager will provides assistance to programs team in the achievement of their program objectives, in particular areas of procurement, logistics, meeting organization, promotional material and packaging development and production. He/she will also coordinate program activities with other departments (finance, procurement, operations, research etc.) and support Program Managers on the program management activities as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate with programs team to understand needs from each program manager on
procurement, promotional material and tracking the stock level of promotion materials, equipments and product
 Raising of Requisition and coordinate with procurement department on the information needed from the programs related to procurement of items
 Liaise with the warehouse team to monitor the stock level of all the programs items and share it with program managers to avoid stock out of the items
2. Support program managers in the development of procurement plans for promotional material, medical equipment or packaging material
 Preparation of distribution plan for field staff i.e. commodities, medical equipment’s and promo.
 Liase and collaborate with fleet and warehouse teams on ensuring items for distribution to the field is done correctly and timely
3. Support programs team in other logistic duties such as (book and organise conferences, workshop, travel ,coordination of officials stakeholders meetings etc) as need
4. Get projections from program team and in consultation with program team, organize procurement of commodities, promotional material, packing material, training sessions, technical equipment, conferences etc as needed under the guidance of the RH team members
 Prepare purchase requisitions and follow up with the procurement department and finance department to ensure implementation
 Ensure new vendors and products are created in PSI financial and procurement system in collaboration with finance and procurement departments

 Check quality and adequacy of all material delivered to the warehouse
5. Support program Managers to monitor project budgets and spending within budget lines
 Support Program Managers to monitor the expenditure of annual program budgets in their areas of activities
 Contribute to the development of work plans and donor reports
 Follow-up of annual outreach plans and share to subs and MOH

Academic and Professional Qualification
 Bachelor degree/ Advanced diploma in social sciences - project management, business administration, marketing or in a related field, advanced degree is an added advantage
 3+ years relevant work experience, health-related preferred
 Advanced training in MS Office, Word is preferred
 Fluent in both English and Kiswahili

JOB TITLE: Program Manager- (Family Planning, cPAC Harm Reduction and Cervical Cancer)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Reproductive Health/Chief of Party DFID
Job Purpose:
The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting strategic planning and technical oversight of assigned Reproductive health Family Planning program areas, including the development of logical frameworks, program targets, annual research plan, quality assurance guidelines, national advocacy strategy and corresponding financial and programmatic reporting. Support relevant external partner relationships at the national level.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support development of strategic plan for assigned Reproductive health Family Planning program area based on market research, donor requirements and organizational capabilities
 Provide strategic planning and participate in providing technical inputs to assigned projets
 Reproductive health Family Planning program area, including the development of logical frameworks and program targets
2. Manage the performance of the Assistant Program Manager Reproductive health - Family Planning, ensuring clarity of her/his responsibilities. work plan, individual MBOs and personal development plans
3. Support the Social Marketing Department on implementation of activities included in assigned Family Planning program area
 Coordinate implementation of assigned program area activities across departments and track progress towards goals
 Contribute technical expertise to development and implementation of marketing plans and materials
4. Continuously update and strengthen technical expertise in assigned Reproductive health Family Planning program area
 Maintain working knowledge of scientific advancements and programmatic best practices in PSI platforms, international agencies, and within the Tanzania health community
 Establish and manage partnerships with organizations such as i.e. PRINMAT, Restless Development which are essential to project achievements. This includes preparation and signature of MOU, budget, reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and feedback for corrective actions as needed
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of annual M&E plan, including research plan
 Participate in the development of qualitative and quantitative study designs and questionnaires related to assigned program area activities
 Provide reports on program performance based on data in MIS system and other M&E tools
6. Support implementation of the PR and advocacy plan for assigned Reproductive health Family Planning area
7. Manage relationships with external stakeholders at national level
 Represent PSI Tanzania at relevant meetings and technical working groups
 Through presentations and/or technical updates, share technical knowledge in appropriate forums such as MOHSW technical working groups, RH conferences; professional associations and within the PSI Programs Team and across PSI departments in collaboration with the RH Medical advisor
8. Manage annual program budgets for assigned Reproductive health Family Planning program area activities
 Development of work plans and donor reports
 Monitor WHP budgets and spending within budget lines
 Monitor CSS/PT budget and spending within budget lines

Academic and Professional Qualification
 Bachelor degree in public health, business administration or marketing or a related field. Master’s degree will be preferred
 5+ years relevant work experience, health-related preferred
 Advanced training in project management and/or social marketing preferred
 Fluent in both English and Kiswahili
